DANCE BLAST is a fitness class with one simple aim - to feel good. In our body, in our mood, in our selves.
45 minutes filled with easy-to-follow, mood-boosting cardio dance routines set to handpicked hits from the 80's to now.
This class is not about burning calories or pushing yourself harder. It's not about getting the steps right or perfecting technique either. It's about letting go, feeling the vibes and finding joy in movement. The fitness is almost just a happy side-effect.
WHO'S IT FOR?
Literally anyone and everyone is welcome. No matter your age, current fitness ability or dance experience. We have 16 year olds and 80 year olds, ex-professional dancers and those with two left feet, marathon runners and people who have never set foot in a gym.
is it a hard workout?
You can take the class at your own intensity - keep it low impact or add as much energy as you've got! Some people just come for a little boogie. Others turn up the ante and leave drenched in sweat.
But everyone leaves drenched in smiles!
do i need to be a dancer?
Absolutely not. The routines follow a repetitive format, which layer in complexity. You'll pick up the steps as we go along, with the choice to stick with the basic steps, or start adding in turns, flair and attitude!

YOUR TEACHER, ROSIE
I have been dancing since I could walk!
I trained as a Junior Associate at the Tring Arts Educational School until I was 11, and continued with Modern and Commercial styles (at far less prestigious dance schools!) until I was 16.
Then, I discovered Zumba classes at University gym, and realised that dance didn't need to be so performative. It could literally just be for fun and fitness!
I qualified in Exercise, Movement and Dance in 2017 and have been teaching my own Dance Fitness classes ever since.
In 2021 I qualified as a Yoga Teacher and have made it my life's purpose to facilitate and inspire creative, expressive, joyful movement as a vehicle to supporting the physical and mental wellbeing of my clients.
